Types of Skeletal Phenotyping Data Currently Accepted
We are actively working toward implementing a repository for skeletal phenotyping data that will be openly accessible to the general public. Our short-term goal is focused on collecting phenotyping data generated from mouse models after some type of experimental challenge such as a genetic perturbation, drug treatment, and/or procedure that impacts skeletal tissues. The current submission form is designed to accept a broad range of assay types including Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA), Micro-Computed Tomography (µCT), Bone Histomorphometry, and biomarkers from serum, plasma, and urine. In the near future, we will also be accepting data on mechanical analyses.
